Dr Tabet grew up in Sydney and attended Trinity Grammar School. He completed undergraduate studies in Advanced Science with a major in Physiology.

He then completed his post-graduate medical degree at the University of Sydney. He graduated with honours in 2009 and worked as a Junior Medical Officer at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst. He completed his Physicians Training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the majority of his Endocrinology Training also at RPA Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Tabet completed a fellowship with a focus on diabetes and pregnancy-related endocrine disease at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. Dr Tabet is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He is currently appointed as a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at Royal Prince Alfred and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospitals.

Dr Tabet’s private practice locations are in Bankstown and Burwood. He is the Co-Director of the Sydney Medical Specialist Group.

Dr Tabet is the current Director of Physician’s Training in the prestigious RPA Basic Physician Training Network. He has strong academic interests, appointed as a Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney. He is heavily involved in teaching and lecturing medical students.

Dr Tabet has professional affiliations and memberships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) , US Endocrine Society, Endocrine Society of Australia (ESA), Australian Diabetes Society (ADS), Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
